Vicki Igbokwe to Open Sadler’s Wells New East London Venue in 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Vicki Igbokwe, founder of Uchenna Dance, will choreograph the inaugural production at Sadler’s Wells new East London venue. Opening in 2023, the new development in Stratford’s Queen Elizabeth Park will be a 500-seat theatre, part of the East Bank Development.

The opening show will be a version of Igbokwe’s production Our Mighty Groove, choreographed with local dancers and communities. Our Mighty Groove is an immersive-interactive production set within a New York underground nightclub where the space is filled with dance, music and diva antics.
