Uchenna 1-Day Dance & Leadership Intensive with Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu
Join Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu (Founder & Creative Director of Uchenna) for a day of dance, empowerment and support as you immerse yourself in the Uchenna spirit.
This one-day intensive weaves together:
- Company Class – grounding in Uchenna’s signature blend of House, Waacking, Vogue, Contemporary and African dance.
- Creative Session – explore repertoire and creative tasks inspired by one of our shows Our Mighty Groove, that recently opened the new Sadler’s Wells East Theatre.
- Coaching Session – space to pause, reflect, and get support in figuring out your next steps as an artist.
- Talk Space – an open, facilitated conversation about life in the industry, career pathways, and sustaining yourself as a creative.
By the end of the day, you’ll leave with:
- Stronger dance technique and performance tools.
- Insights into Vicki’s creative process
- Greater clarity and confidence about your next steps as an artist.
- Connection with others on a similar journey to you and a supportive professional network.
Who is the workshop for:Emerging and early-career dancers, creatives, and leaders aged 18–30 who are ready to grow artistically and professionally… but often feel alone, confused, or unsure about what comes next. Open to recent graduates, those still in training, and self-taught artists eager to expand their skills, confidence, and industry awareness.
