Our Mighty Groove Wins Best Dance Production at the Black British Theatre Awards!

Uchenna and Sadler’s Wells’ Our Mighty Groove won the award for Best Dance Production at the 2025 Black British Theatre Awards, held at London’s Piccadilly Theatre.

The award was accepted on the night by Artistic Director Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu and OMG Performer Shanelle Clemenson, on behalf of Executive Producer Grace Okereke, with Uchenna’s Marketing & Communications Manager, Georgia Gerson, also in attendance to celebrate this incredible achievement.

This recognition is a testament to the artistry and dedication behind Our Mighty Groove, an unapologetically bold, empowering and ground-breaking production that redefines what dance theatre can be.

We extend huge congratulations to the entire creative team, performers, collaborators and everyone who has contributed to the success of the show.
