The UK Women in Dance Awards – 2020 winner, Vicki Igbokwe from Uchenna Dance
Uchenna Dance founder Vicki Igbokwe is the proud recipient of The UK Women in Dance Award – 2020.
Organised by AWA Dance (Advancing Women’s Aspirations with Dance), this new award ceremony honours those who have made a significant impact in dance across the sector during 2020.
In an emotional acceptance speech, Vicki talked about her mission to keep educating girls and women, to empower them to feel their self-worth and continue making great dance, delivering her mantra “Think Fierce, Be Fabulous and Live Free spirited.”
While just one winner was awarded by a jury of industry experts, all of the 28 nominees are women who shape and define new leadership models.
