Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu Brings Uchenna to École des Sables

Uchenna Dance’s Artistic Director, Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu, recently joined the prestigious École des Sables as a teacher for the Here and Now: Urban and Contemporary Black Dances program. Participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unique Uchenna style, and Vicki had the change to catch up with Alesandra Seutin, who is co-artistic director of the institution.

Established in 2018, this program is designed to enhance the skills of professional dancers from around the world. Participants engaged deeply with the rich cultural heritage of African and Diaspora dances while exchanging ideas with international peers.

Limited to just 40 participants, the program offers an exceptional environment known for its artistic and educational excellence.
